Do they make it under a new company name or just new developers instead of them?

After bancrupcy of 3DO, which also took NWC with them, NWC employees were scattered around the world. As far as I know, none of NWC workers made it to current Homm5 development team. JVC is working at NCSoft if I am not mistaken, and others wherever they got work (Microsoft for example ).
Why am i forced to have an "U" as a screen name? I'd like to sue someone.

New World Computing was disbanded when 3DO, the company that had bought them in '96, went belly-up in 2003. An auction followed, and UbiSoft aquired the rights to the entire Might and Magic brand. Quite cheap, too, one might add.

John van Caneghem had already withdrawn from NWC before this all happened.

Actually, NWC was alive for some time after 3DO's collapse, trying to find a new publisher, until Van Caneghem closed the office in Solvang.
I think Ubisoft and Nival will make a better Heroes V than NWC would make if 3DO didn't collapse.
And no, he didn't leave NWC before the closure.
