I found a cool screenshot here of D:PL on the Wii. It looks like it'll have an interior view. I hope they do, and it's not that hard to make it really. In fact, I wouldn't mind if they had the interior view from Stuntman.

I wouldn't get too excited over a screenshot. Most screenshots, especially at earlier stages of development, are not taken during actual gameplay, so this screenshot means nothing, although the interior is modeled quite nicely...

Really, is that so?... Well, like I said, it's not that hard. Like in Stuntman, all it was, was the camera mounted on the driver's seat. So maybe another camera option when you press select is all you need to go to the interior view. So please Reflections and Ubisoft, make an interior view when driving a vehicle in the new versions of D:PL and Driver 76. Like I said, it shouldn't be too hard to make.

You're exactly right, Matt_jon. Usually, over a certain period of time, there maybe changes made to a game that either remove that function or just change it to look different. We won't really know until we get to play the game. And, come to think of it, I've decided to borrow DPL for the Wii as soon as I'm finished with a second game that I've gotten to rent for GameFly. I would be glad to help out and post anything about the Wii version after finally being able to actually play it.Originally posted by matt__jon:

I saw the ad for D:PL on the Wii in Gameinformer magazine. And when are we going to get the Driver 76 website? I mean really, come on, the game's coming out in less that a month and no website? That's not right, not right at all. So I really want Ubisoft to launch the official Driver 76 website.

Go look at the DPL website and ignore the 2006 part, theres your website.

The Driver 76 website? It's not out yet, and it looks like it will have a few differences compared to D:PL.
Now you know how in 2006 at Times Square in D:PL you see the Atari logo and a Stuntman billboard? Will they get rid of that stuff and maybe replace it with the Ubisoft logo and something like Blazing Angels Squadrons of WWII or a Tom Clancy game for the PC and Wii version of D:PL? Because Atari no longer owns the rights to the Driver series.

No, they're gonna keep in all the old logos so Atari can sue them.

Well it would be very pointless to start working on a D76 website right now when the game is going to be out pretty soon. And I'm not even sure if the game will sell as much as the GTA games on the PSP have come to sell, so it isn't very much worth to do so.
I'd rather just see Reflections save up the money that they get from D76 and the newer DPL ports and use it for the next-gen Driver as well as a website for it. That would be a much better idea.
I don't know why you would not want a website of Driver 76. I mean, GTA LCS and VCS have their own websites. And Driver 76 will be kind of different compared to D:PL. Let's see, you'll play as Ray from D:PL, there will be some weapons and vehicles not in D:PL, there will be multiplayer games, and more.
Here's another Driver 76 update (I don't mean to go off topic). The game will be released in May, not March. So maybe that will give Ubisoft more time to make a website for it.
