Help!! Defeating the warrior (first encounter) | Forums

At thsi point it has been 40 minits of trying to defeat the warrior. I have been slashing it with my sword once sending elika in to do some magic damage then sliding under him and elika does some more magic damage. I have dont this 50 times and according to my guide book this should weaken him. He is turning colour and getting bluer but still when i get to the cut sceen to thow him off i am fast enough but i always lose. HELP

You just have to make him fall from the platform Press the buttom as fast as you can.
But if you think you cant defeat him go to another area and do it later

Can somebody who has beat him on PC, describe how they did it. I cant seem to click fast enough with my mouse no matter what.

This really sucks.. for such a seamless game.. a really frustrating encounter.

Well I figured out a way to do it.
As far as spamming the key, I remapped the attack key to a key on the keyboard and then was able to mash that one fast enough to beat this encounter. You go into the Game Menu -> Options -> Controls - Define Controls
Once that fight is done just reset it to defaults.

As far as getting him in the right position to Push him off the platform, just move closer to the edge then roll under him and hamstring/attack, or just use a combination of Princess attacks and yours to push him to the edge... then get ready to mash a key faster than you ever mashed a key in your life.

Thats funny my Prima guide book says that i have to weaken him by the magic attacks but that seemed to do nothing quickly and that you are able to push him over the edge after he glows or something?

Well, I dont know if it weakens him, but using combos of Her and your attack can push him back a little. Get him close to the edge and attack him and it goes to the animation of you(under the warriors foot) trying to help her and her magic push him back.
Thats where you have to spam the attack key as quick as possible.

Simply press the attack button in one rate with the icon on the screen.

I'm also having this problem! Im on ps3 though.

I had the same problem to... Following helps

1. Use middle finger (no pun intended)
2. Tense your forearm muscles so hard that your hand starts to shake
3. Place the finger on the button

I aint joking - this actually works for me !!!
