Why no southpaw? | Forums

I do not understand why some Ubisoft games have the southpaw option (RB6-Ghost Recon) and others don't (splinter cell now Far Cry) I would have bought Far Cry with the $50 credit I have from RB6 lockdown (returned because of the southpaw problem)but with no southpaw sorry I won't. Can a Mod please tell me why because us southpaw players make up small amount but I think if you sell a few more that is a good thing no?

I'm with you Bud.. I need this too... I was disappointed as well to find this option not available in the Controller Option.
It's one of the first things I look at before I purchase these types of games.

I didn't really read the alternate joystick mode, but what is "Goofy". I just assumed it was south paw, but by the sounds of it it isnt.

i really like this game but afraid i will have return it. i recently had the same problem with another ubi game (lockdown) at least that had southpaw controls (wich needs patched to work and and is still not out yet)will there be a southpaw patch for farcry?
