Just throwing it out there... on the assumption that FC2 is one huge open map, Cooperative gameplay would be absolutely amazing. Too many games go by without any Co-Op that would have benefited monumentally *spelling* from it (STALKER for instance)

So, getting in here early (ish) to sow the seed of creativity! Huzzah!

I think it would be brilliant if farcry2 had a coop mode in multiplayer. There were numerous coop mods bought out in fc1 but none of them were any good, lag and stuff.
Looking at the sp video that came out of the lipzig thingymabob it would be a crying shame if there was no coop mp for fc2

By co-op, do you mean teams against teams in multiplayer or do you mean you and a couple of friends against the AI? Like a couple of people playing through a 'single-player' campaign...

There always seems to be at least one person asking for co-op on a new game, but I dunno if there's really much of a market for it. I can't recall any games that have had co-op play and I really don't care for it. Isn't co-op multiplayer so much better?

Co-op could work well in this game, with the buddies and all, but I don't think they need bother with it personally.

Thanks, you touch on my point exactly. People want co-op, and developers seem to brush them away. If any developer wants to create a great game with innovative features, Online co-op would be a great way of doing it.

Duh people keep asking for co-op, it's insanely fun! From the storyline of FarCry2 so far, I think that Co-op in the storyline would fit in somehow resulting in another human player taking control of a "buddy" in the single player map "world".

I dunno, just my thoughts... hope this helps..

doom had it ! serious sam has it !
i want it back. it should be a given to get co-op, especially when the game lends itself that good to it. I mean, a buddy system is acutally coop, only with NPCs/AI.
