GRAW 1. error code -6001. what's that? | Forums

i decided to re-install graw1 to check a few things out but when i try to install it i get this error:

error code -6001

the game advices me to
* empty recyles bin
* close other aplications
* check internet connection

i've done all of the above and i still get this error.

i had graw1 installed and i copy pasted it to another harddisk because i needed the space on the HD i previously had graw1 on.

since i never installed the 1.35 patch before i wanted to try it now and when i wanted to install it the patch couldnt find that i have graw1 on my machine. naturally.
this is why i wanted to reinstall graw but i get this error.
maybe if someone can figure out how to get the patch instaler to see i have the files of graw but the registry is missing (i think that's the case) than i can do without reinstalling graw.

anyone knwos about this and how to solve any of the issues i encountered?

nevermind. i finally got the search option to work (previously had errors on the search option too. lol) and found the solution for the error on this forum.

Good I think the forum covers most previous problems and a lot of solutions.
