Thread: a demo... why not? | Forums

hey, there are allready two demos right? the civil war and the skydiving level were both at E3. so why not put them out on marketplace? i want to play this game so bad and september is more than 2 months away. a bunch of people have allready played it so why not let every one else who didnt go to E3 play huh? also on a diferent note dont you think a big green light stuck on ur back would attract a little attention? I like the no hud idea but maybe they could find a better way to do it, or maybe not.
    I-I-I-I GOT EM!!

who cares if there is a green light stuck on your back, it keeps the "game" at the "game" level. and once it doesnt ruin the gameplay of the game in anyway then dont worry about it.

@freak: Because it hasnt been polished yet okay? No offense but it seems that everyone wants a demo right after E3 because they have seen levels that have been completed. Realy it doesnt work like that. The "demos" we saw were semi polished levels running on top of the line equipment with crashes every now and then.

Ubi is lamer in releasing DEMOs. They are releasing demos too late. People got to play the game, find bugs, glitches and etc, like a test of the game.

you know, if ubi changed its development methods away from a big single release and moved it towards a beta type game or level which reflected the major elements of DA, then the development and testing and shipping time of DA would be incredibly low and other games. it would also serve as better marketting as a beta game could only include one level or a test level or arena for the single player aspect, problems could be routed out faster and gamers would know what theyr gettin earlier on
