How do I remove ingame messages, and online icons?

I've never found a way to remove ingame icons. There is a tool that was discussed but I never saw any evidence of it working.

What ingame messages are you asking about - the AI messages, or the Aircraft feedback messages, or the chat messages.

To add or remove text lines - click in the chat box, and a new section should drop down. Drag the lowest bar up or down to decrease or increase the amount of chat displayed. You can also drag the chat text around the screen. (But I've forgotten where to click for that)

To change the icons - assign a key to the "toggle icons" command. This will only work when you're flying, not when you're watching a track. I don't think you can remove icons from a track, which is quite strange.

It is possible to remove icons from an offline .trk file but not a .ntrk file.

Try button called toggle icons. Which can be found in options input menu.
