That's because you have not patched your game up to full version 1.6. Do a google search for raven shield patches, and make sure you download the proper one for your language/region (eg, US, UK, FR).
Once you've patched up to version 1.6, you will be able to enjoy epic multiplayer!

Well i bought the game online and downloaded it through the two disk's set. does that patching still work ?
Yes it will work just fine, as long as you get the correct patches for your region. For example, if you are in the US or you have an English language version of the game, try the US patches. If you are from Italy, get the Italian patches, etc.
