My wifes grandfather was Staff Sergeant Claude Rondeau 31200108 was a artillery forward observer in the 30TH ID, 118TH Field Artillery Battalion during WWII.I am looking for any info/history of the 30TH any of you members might be able to dig up past the usual stuff that can be googled which I have done already.

Apparently Soulja183's grandfather was in the 30Th also. I thought this might make a good thread...thanks

yeah, I actually had a CoD clan named after the 30th and had a bunch of pictures my grandfather brought back from the war on the site. It's down now as the clan was **** and disbanded. But there are several websites dedicated to the 30th, but one in particular if you can give dates of enlistment and discharge, they will send you info on the 118th and anything else they find on the particular person. I'm going to have to find my old backup disks with my favorites on it to find the site though.

EDIT: Do my eyes decieve me or does this forum edit out the word cr@p? LOL!
