First go to the GRO website.
Then you login.
Then click on >> PLAY GAME <<
Then a application does download and you open it.
Then the install starts.
You wait untill it is downloaded and installed and go shoot some people.

i downloaded the DLC for arctic strike which is brilliant content btw, but after i quit for a while and came back, the menu now says DLC package s expired??? so i re downloaded everything including my uplay passport (just in case) but it still says DLC expired, now im left with payed for content rendered useless can someone help please im on ps3 btw

This is Ghost Recon Online, not Ghost Recon Future Soldier. This is the wrong forum. But for your problem, i suggest you make a ticket.
