I installed them on 2 different systems with a GeForce 3 TI500....BOTH refused to boot consistently after install. Would stop @ XP loading screen...forced hard boot uninstall in safe mode and put on 44.03's...no problem.... Both were clean installs of XP no prior drivers installed.

Man, i don't know if I should feel lucky or concerned now. I installed the update and system is booting fine.
    I just finished a mission for Smolensk- IL-2 and was getting 41 fps average 4600ti 2.5 P4 1 g of ddr at 1024x768
4X AA and 2X AF settings at excellent.
Before that a Leningrad mission in a Lagg 3 with the same FPS. For my system that is a bit of an improvement as Leningrad campaign usually still has a small intermitent stutter.
Must be lucky tonight, I'll run it a couple days and see how it goes.

Tom's hardware did a long test comparing the 44.03 to the 45.23. The bottom line was the 45.23 drivers were no improvment.

    I have a Ti4600.
Installing the 45.23 drivers appeared to fix the bad pauses I was getting with the 44.03's.
