i don't know about anyone else here but i played splinter cell from the first game and sc:ct is way too easy, the co-op mode is even easier because theres two of you! If you get a versus game with decent players, then versus is as hard as sc1 was the first time round. does anyone agree with me on this?

P.S. Please don't turn this into a flame room, I only want sensible answers from intelligent people with comprehendable explanations. (ie no idiots please)

I beleive the difficulty of the game depends on your strategic point of view on how you assess each situation. Plenty of people might see this game as too hard since they are runnign around each level like it is Halo 2. The more sensible Splinter Cell player might find the game more easier since this is the third installment of the series, and the gameplay itself hasn't made any extremely radical changes. If you mastered SC1 and SCPT, then with the same mentality and actions, you will find the game easier in the long run. Co-op was a completely different experiance, and yes, sometimes you can beat all four levels in just a few hours, doesn't mean they are 'easy'. Sometimes I find it really hard to beat the Bunker level in co-op without being seen by a camera or two, or setting of an alarm. Bunker is the only mission where I have yet to receive 100% completion.

Thought this game may seem easy, it is nevertheless fun to play. I enjoyed every level, on every difficulty, playing both assault and stealth modes of play. If you are looking for a challange, challange your own self, and reduce the limit of knockouts you get per level. With this you might make the game a little bit harder, and even more enjoyable for you to play.

it's a matter of taste. it can hard if you want all 100% on expert, i imagine.

and excluding teens is stupid. teenagers are just as capable of making intelligent statements. excluding idiots would have been better. you would not believe the type of things that "mature" or "older" people do with anonymity(sp?).

I agree wih sweener. Where do you get off saying teens are stupid? Just because we don't have a beard down to the floor like you doesen't demine us from the rest of society. But anyways. I hav a thing for co-op rather than versus because now-a-days people i play with are either "doing glitches" or taking a fall to level up someone else. With co-op, you don't need to worry about ranking. The only gripe i have with co-op is some of the idiots that shoot wildly into the air rather than try. Samfan12 can back me up when i say "I am a great co-op partner."

actually, I just recently got PT and beat it and to my amazement I found it easier that CT! It is like FN57 said, If you get good at one of the splintercells, than your bound to get good at all of the other ones. I found it easier than CT because, I did not need to worry about 100% rating, the scope is much better, laser made shooting lights out EASY, the difference between Sticky Cam and Diversion Cam made it easy (if my Camera got shot then It wasnt a camera that could gas them), the SWAT-turn and shooting around corners helped, surplus amount of ammunition in each level, millions of alternate routes, airfoil round was different so I could interrogate guys after stunning them, If I got in a fire-fight I was more likely to get away and then kill them all swiftly but in CT I usually would die, and lots of gadgets lying around. (I had 7 sticky cams and 6 airfoil rounds at one point!)

The only thing that really bugged me was the missions where I didnt get a SC-20K and/or had a 1 alarm rule. The 3 alarms doesnt bother me at all. Enemies were not nearly as suspicious or smart. cameras were easy to get by because they were breakable and there was the camera jammer for the black ones.

So really it depends on how you see "easy"

    EDIT: There you go

Oh yeah and FN57 Im currently working on getting the # of KOes reduced and so far I have made my goal in bank and battery.

You should have said 'No immature assclowns are allowed to post' refering to both teenages and adults who fail to use common punctuation, sentence structure and basic literary skills while writing each post.
