Sorry to say, but I "traded" my VIIC for a Lancaster and a Mosquito last week, it was with mixed feelings, but it is great fun to buzz around in the European sky and bomb Hamburg, Dresden and other places from 4000 ft in the Lancaster or go hunting at 50 ft in the Mossie. If you don't know the Lancaster + Mossie is an add on for FS2004.

Can you post some screenshots? I'd love to see some!

I don't have FS2004, but I'm interested in getting it because of the Lancaster add-ons available for it. I assume yours is Just Flight's Lancaster add-on?

Sorry I do not have any screenshots yet, but go to Just Flight Forum or to Amazon.co.uk you can find some there, but to fly the Lancaster or Mossie you must have FS2004 as they are as you say add on.

If it were not a Microsoft product, I would have bought it just for the Lanc.
But if you like it .....

Anyone want a copy of CFS3, free?

Oh well, never mind. I've already seen the screenshots on various websites, but wasn't sure if these had been taken on a super-spec PC. How does FS2005 plus the Lancaster add-on run on your PC? What CPU and graphics card do you have? Also, do you get a decent manual with the Lanc add-on?

Sorry to ask so many questions, I hope you don't mind a few more....

    - Is there a campaign or missions to follow?

    - I read that the weapons (guns and bombs) on the Lanc can't damage anything because FS2004 doesn't have that kind of stuff built-in, which I can understand as it was not designed as a combat flight sim. But does this spoil the experience at all?

    - I assume there are no other aircraft flying with you (i.e. like a bomber raid) or against you (i.e. night fighters)? Is there flak?

    - Also, would you mind posting the address of the forum so I can take look?

It's ok to ask, here are the answers:
    1. You can plane routes for Lancs and Mossies from any airfield in UK to any German town, night or day. One of the Lanc types drop bombs but as you say you don't see them hit the target, however, the Nav. to find the target and flying the aircraft, I find great.
You also experience the difference in flying a Lanc or a Mossie, and with further add on you can have a Spitfire, a Tempest, B17, B24 and a Ar234 all with different flying charateristics, actually, "flying" the plane is close to the real thing. I know as an ex-pilot.
    2. No there are no fighters but many other aircrafts in the air.

Hope I have been a little help.

    Thanks Jensen

One last question... When you say there are other aircraft in the air, do you mean Lancs and other WW2 aircraft?

Thanks for the forum link - I'll go take a look
