i finally beat the empress and now i'm at the beach from the beginning of the game. i think the chapters called leaving the island. i'm confused out of my mind. i don't know what to do..any help would be appreciated.

after beating the empress, there shoudl have been a cutscene showing that the dahaka is still alive and is still following you and he will chase you to the catacombs .... Didn't you get a cutscence ? Try playing from an earlier save.
