Ice bergs What sector is the best place to find them?

I sailed all the way up to the north pole I never found any little icebergs that were floating about.

Anyone find any in the sectors anywhere in the carreer mode you find icebergs when your on a patrol? Do they just happen to appear at certain times of the year?

I've never heard anyone actually say they have seen one in the campaign game. People say where to look all the time but noone has said they saw one. They probably werent included in the campaign like a few other features I can think of, however you can create a single mission with them.
I've been places in the North Atlantic that are supposed to be frozen over in Winter and there is nothing around.

    What ??
You didn`t find any icebergs on the north pole ?

Odd, since it`s supposed to be icebergs there all the time.

Just open up the campaign with the editor and look for them. There are only about ten.

hi this is probably a stupid question but if there are few or none icebergs in the campaign is it not possible to edit the campaign with the editor and add more icebergs where you like then save and exit. start a new campaign and voila you got some icebergs?

Come to think about it uhh... cant you do this with other things as well and not just icebergs (ie add warship fleets, mines (if they exist), subnets at ports etc)

    if not why not?

You can, but it's a lot of work to include more ships because you have to tell them when they should appear (or do you want them to sit around the whole war?) and have to set waypoints for each of them.

You also have to consider that your cpu has to calculate every ship's movement so your performance would go down when you add some more.

I guess you can't sail underneath the northern ice flows either then?

well it would be nice to add things which make ports seem more habitable and fortress-like.

So having 1 or two ships berthed all the time would be fair enough.

Can you setup waypoints where a British fleet attacks a german port. (ie they move to the co-ordinates and then the AI attacks any enemy ships there?)

Also these attacks would be co-ordinated with flight squadron attacks as well. (ie set that the squadron attacks the port slightly later maybe)

I actually havent looked at the mission editor, sounds like there is a lot of stuff you can add in
