Just completed the career pat of the game. As far as a game, I rate it good. Graphics: Excellent. Action: Excellent. Historically: Poor.
My last mission was a recon of Hiroshima Harbor. Clocked it so I could be the on 08-06-45
Sat the boat 8.5km due south of 132deg-27'-19"E x 34deg-23'-07"N, History said it was slightly over cast, Had my conning tower high enough and my radar was hot, and You know what I saw at 08:16?, Nothing. I should have at least picked up (3) Planes coming in from the SSW. and by 08:17 the harbor should have been in ruins. Yes, I understand the politics involved, However, History has been written an can't be changed.
It's a good game could be better Historically

Congrats on finishing Career, i get mothballed in 43.No matter if i sink 200'000+ tonnes and complete lots of missions.

Is it just me, or do you find it funny when someone brings up historical accuracy of this game and uses time compression to play it.

To HMFIC57, I'm not saying that this needs to be 100% accurte. Abbreviated would work fine. At the Battle of Iwo and Okinawa, I didn't expect to see the thousands of ships that took part, Unless you have a super computer common people don't have the capability. I don't think the game can be 100% historically accurate otherwise I might bump into a graphical reppresantion of my Uncle on his ship at some point...how wierd would that be!

If you accidently killed the graphical representation of your direct ancestors, would you graphically exist currently. And if you didn't graphically exist now, how could you kill your ancestor??? You'll be stuck in a graphical time loop and destroy the graphical world!!!!!
