os : windows me / windows 98 / xp
graphic card : n vidia geforce 2 64 mb
processor : p3 700

i have installed the game in windows me and i tryed to start the hame after the install ( both full and minimum ) thw warning says that

" DirectX cannot create the device for Ares. Get sure desktop is in 32 bits mode ( the only bit depth supported by this version of Ares ).
try setting your desktop 32 bits now.

Filename: \Myst4\graphic\ares\private\directx\src\ares\api_d evice.cpp
line no : 306

press retry to debug "

also my desktop setting is in 32 bit and 1024*768 resolution.

i tryed to install the game in win 98 but i saw the same problem.
when i tryed in xp there is no problem but i want to play it in windows me.
