This question regards to both Retail DVD version and Digital Download version.
Over the weeks this great game has been released, thousands of people have been anxiously waiting for the multiplayer networking to become functional.
A single video was revealed, by the executive producer, of a fully functional multiplayer of Avatar the game "over a network".
When the game was released a functional multiplayer was given, but it is not over the internet nor is their LAN supported on this multiplayer setup. Due to this, many people have been saying this game's multiplayer is disabled and to those who love this game are saying "a complete waste of money" for the consumer.
My question is, how can I, as well as others, get PC multiplayer to work over the internet /lan? Are their ports that need to be forwarded? Is the multiplayer setup of this game even working over a global network?
Many people have been dying to get a feel on this "internet" multiplayer action, and I have noticed on the box of this game it specifically states "Play it on ubi.com" which is misleading as to whether this is Ubi soft's slogan, or is it telling the buyer that the game has online multiplayer supported by "ubi.com"? There are no signs of any multiplayer written on the box and the only action that fulfills the line "PC DVD ONLINE" is an online activation for the game itself.
Why would a single player campaign game contain an online activation and registration with ubi.com----is there multiplayer included?
As of now, Avatar The Game for PC is a single player campaign game. "They" have, at least, tried hard not to make this game false advertising, but failed to specify if the functional multiplayer contained access to a global network.
