Thread: GRAW 2, PS3, cant headset to work! | Forums

  1. #1
    Sorry about this simple question:

How do I get sound / voice to work? I have a logitech usb headset (from SOCOM on the PS2), that gives both voice and headset sound when tested in the chat menu on the PS3...

but i cant get anything into or out of it on GRAW online. This is my 1st online game activity, so I'm probably missing something totally obvious!

Thanks for any help anyone may have!

not polite to answer your own post I know, but this has been a nightmare for me, so I thought i'd share the knowledge for any other online PS3 noobs out there:

If you use Mac dont use a belkin router, cos they are a nightmare - on setting up the networka and the router 'bricks' or hangs then you need to do a hard reset, but if you needed firmware to get to work with Mac then you'll lose that and have to reinstall.

I gave up after a good while, got a netgear.. works fine.

To address the wep that a network may have; PS3s dont really seem to get on with it. Consider MAC only enabled wireless from the router

Static every gadget on your network.

Put the PS3 in the DMZ, you'll never need to open specific ports again.

Hope this may help some peeps out there.

Have you tried enabling your bluetooth on the ps3.

Access the settings section of the xmb (cross mediar bar) and scroll down to audio device settings.
It should be pretty much self explanatory from there.

If that dont work then try this old thread for a fix..
