Thread: Why So Lazy Ubisoft? | Forums

  1. #1
I love the game. Played through it, completed singleplayer, playing coop alot with my friend atm.

But why would you leave in mousesmoothing and an Aim-Assist for PC players. It's so annoying and you can't even turn it off.
If i aim relatively close to the character and zoom + trigger i will do a headshot no matter what.

I still love the game, but i really don't understand why Ubi did this, it's annoying.

Sadly all of this is just another developer money issue i guess.

Aim assets is part of the game. I'm shocked you're able to complete the whole game. I haven't been able to complete it because my game pauses every second (unless there's a cut scene). I'm using Wireless internet so that could be my problem.

Not able to get anyone out here because we're so out of reach, so we're stuck with Wireless -_-. I haven't even been able to try coop or anything because of it pausing.

It's unplayable and enjoyable. If I changed my settings and press Esc, it goes black, and the Ubisoft game launcher shuts down after saving my game O_O. This is another problem I'm having too, the Launcher doing what it does. Then I have to double click the game AGAIN watch the same title screen and wait for it to load my file -_-.

I don't get it. I never experienced any auto-aim or aim-assist. When do you encounter?!
The more I play SCC, the more I think SCC and SCB are more optimized for panther and assault. Playing ghost is not really a fun factor unlike the old SC games. For that matter, I think SCB should at least be played panther or assault (not over use). We all hope SCB is more classic since it is still in production but you can't change the fact that the series is taking this way. Therefore, you play it the way it's meant to be played. Though, I am not ruling out ghosting in SCB, it's possible and can be fun but the game is more optimized for panther/assault.
    Therefore:
SC1-4: Ghost player SCC and SCB: Panther/(Occasional)Assault
    Overall: GHOST PLAYER

Mouse3 on enemy and you get an auto aim... console style.

You can't honestly believe that you are so l33t that you can almost always HS a baddy across the room with your pistol. I've noticed that if you are undetected and aim at a guy you pretty much always get HS.

I just want to be able to turn this and mouse smoothing off. It's really annoying. The whole point of the mouse is gone with that aim assist imo. Might as well use a controller if you have a 360

So what you want is when you aim on the head, the super elite spy shoots somewhere else randomly? That sounds convenient...

If the target is far away enough, even if your red dot is on their head, you will miss. I've had plenty of bad shots where the bullet literally goes about 2 inches from where I'm aiming it and buzz over the target's head, and I've been around the block quite a few times. Also, if you try to shoot a moving target, there's definitely no aim assist there =_=

The above statement is false, there is ALWAYS aim assist in SCC the only variable is if you are too slow to pull the trigger/or aim too far away you will miss.
Aim close enough to the target and you get a headshot on all enemies.
It's very common in console games, and even there you can toggle it off.

That's not aim assist, that's a hit assist then... aim assist implies the game assists you with aiming your gun (so if you're like 3mm from the head, it snaps to the head.) This game gives you headshots if you aim them, but it only rarely, if ever, snaps to head, and you are still liable to miss if they even move an inch...
