    Whatever they do for multiplayer, I hope that don't restrict it to a service based costly option. The charm of Heroes is you can play hotseat (which Cattleman and I do a lot) or a tcp/ip with friends and singleplayer. I detest the option of buying an expensive game and then having to pay a monthly fee to play it. For those of us who live in rural Australia and pay dearly for our internet connection it online service is not a viable option.

    Even those living in suburban Australia pay a lot for online services, so having to pay an extra monthly fee doesn't make an attractive option.

    Yeah, online fees really make you pick and choose what you want to do online. Our ISP just put a restriction on download and upload amounts. Getting into too many online games really uses bandwidth and we have to watch what we do from now on.

    I like the option, an offline game with an online component maybe.

    Now time limit means that player have N minutes on advanture map and infinity in Battles. I heard one idea from many players. This is full time limit per turn. Means that N minutes on both maps: advanture and combat. I hope in Heroes 5 will be this system. Very boring to play games when you turn takes 5 minutes and opponents 15 or 20...

    I don't see any reason to change the MP system from the HOMM III model.

    It worked...it was used by most and it allowed people to set their own parameters.

    the only thing I'd ask for is the ability to cut and paste IP's and to remember the last IP used in case of a crash so you didn't have to type it 1000 times trying to connect.
