    What's the diff. between IXC and IXC/40? Can i use better equipment on the IXC/40?

    Nope, but you get slightly more fuel for sligtly longer range. Not worth it if you already have a IXC, but you may consider it if you want to upgrade from IXb, which has a lot less range to it
