Firstly....more fool me..for not reading up on this forum first.

Myself and some friends have been playing and running a RVS server for some time.

I thought I'd treat us all to 3 copies of Vegas 2 to play some updated Terrorist Hunt.

#ERROR#.....what a terrible experience we have had. Firstly the CD keys didn't work so I emailed UBI and waited a week for that to suddenly and miraculously start working.

Now any games we play have the sound loop problem for anyone joining.....splendid! Lag I'm told is the main ish.

No wucking furries I thought, I will set up a dedi on my 10meg up/down line......errrr...no I won't...no support for Terri hunt in Dedi I discover, not to mention no dedicated option without a CD key....bah.

So overall......HUGE FAIL.

Cheers UBI....that's another 3 customers you lost......right...I'm off to Cheneraus to fight some insugents (ARMA2 for the uninitiated)

Well, don't feel too badly .. many gamers purchased this game and were never able to get it to run for various reasons.
Ubisoft dropped support soon after release and haven't been heard from again in this forum.

Who would think that you would need to check a game forum to learn that Ubisoft released a broken unfinished game?

Many have posted here in an effort to let gamers know of the issues with V2 in hopes they would learn the truth before they purchased, but as you found, that doesn't always work.

At least you learned a lesson about Ubisoft games, and it sounds as if you will be more cautious in the future.
