Wow, 97 FPS !! that is fantastic
I can't wait to get mine XPS 630 and give it
a Black Death ride to see how IL2 series up to IL2-1946 should supposed to look like for me for the first time after many years !!
My older poo Compaq is refusing to keep up with my latest IL2-1946 demands , so it's time for new rig.

I would go myself for sure with Gateway , I wanted to but then all of a sudden BestBuy store did changed price from $1.099 to $1.299 and that killed my mood .
I did found only about one other website on-line store that is accepting pre-orders for $1.099 but they may also likely change the price once this Gateway is available .
I didn't know of any other place where to get this fantastic Gateway for same $1.099 immediately without pre-order or " coming soon " .
Maybe I should have done still a little bit more homework trying to find it.
I hope XPS 630 will also pull out some impressive results so I shall see .........
Once again , congratulation on your new rig and happy flying !!

    Well , I will never understand last 4 - 5 days
as to what's going on with BestBuy and this Gateway gaming rig pricing .
Last Thursday , I did make up my mind and wanted to go with Gateway , but then on Friday shocking new update from $1.099 to $1.299 !
Now I could understand some few buck difference in price but $200 more ? is this some king of weekend joke ? So I went on and ordered on Friday Dell XPS 630 just to find out on Sunday that not only they changed on-line price back to $1.099 but also with my Sunday newspaper subscription Chicago Sun-Times ,there is always BestBuy catalog inside which listed this system for $1.179 with this nice 19" flat screen monitor included .
I got almost heart attack , this is really fu.ked up .
So , now I'm waiting for $1.500 XPS 630 system that is about the same or even a little bit less powerful that this gaming Gateway and I don't have monitor included for XPS 630 .
Really the only thing that is keeping me cool is, that I can upgrade a hell out of XPS 630 as it have all ATX build gaming system components.
If Dell will screw up my order or any other problem , I will say thank you , canceling my order and I may still end up with Gateway and 19" screen monitor
RockyAlexander , it is time for you to start asking some questions about this whole $1.099- $1.299 price fiasco and also about this amazing 1.179 deal .
This is really mess and they need to be providing some answers immediately !!

/This deal with 19" HD LCD monitor included is listed in catalog as/ :
    (FX7026/FPD1976W)
    Reg.Price $1309.98 - $130 Bundle Instant Savings = Total $1179.98

Okay, I went to Best Buy with my complaint, and they gave me a 214-dollar cash refund to make up the difference in price

That's good news !! you're the man of action ,
no pitty , what a happy ending
They screwed up , and you deserved a refund !!
Now extra $214 can get you another good deal if
    you need anything else .
Thanks for the update RockyAlexander .

Wow, Bestbuy did something right for once, lol.

The rig I'm getting from CyberPowerPC has a faster processor ( dual, instead of quad like yours) but I ordered it with a video card that is inferior to yours. So congrats on getting a decent PC for your money. My dual core is all that is needed for IL2 and a quad core like you got is not needed but still won't hurt anything.

I still would rather have my rig because it does not have a proprietary motherboard like a big make like Gateway has. That can keep you from upgrading later on. But my PC is infinitely upgradable because it's not proprietary.

I wish I had your 8800 instead of my 8600 though.
I could have ordered mine with a 8800 in it for not much more. My fault for not thinking!!

    Holy truth !!
Gateway is not much for upgrades but still unbelievable best deal I ever saw with those components inside for just $1.099 , still can't find similar rig on the same price level.
I'm sure this Gateway will be sold very quickly.
Unfortunately I paid quite more for my Dell XPS 630 but everything imaginable inside is upgradable
It's thou still bugging me that Gateway deal with HD LCD 19" monitor included for just $1.179
If I just waited a little bit longer with order until last Monday, then things could have been different.........................
8600 should still have IL2-1946 for lunch without much stress .

Don't beat yourself up too much, that monitor most likely wasn't speced well for gaming.
