Gonna have to say that was low, Ubisoft, really low.
And after these unfortunate shenanigans I witnessed today I vow to never purchase another Ubisoft title again. Yes I play Ubisoft games if the opportunity freely presents itself, but you will never get another dollar from me.
At this point, I think the minimum you would do is offer refunds, no questions asked for those whom you tricked into buying your game.
I will use this example when speaking with my friends, family and colleagues, from this point on.
Steam has been giving refunds to select cases. I suggest attempting to deal with them first.
Steam has been VERY understanding of this situation so far. This has ruined my view of Ubi, whom I used to love (Shadowbane and End Wars!) but has greatly increased my view of Steam
I just submitted a request to Steam, I will keep you guys informed on the status.
I hope enough people do this to make our anger relevant and understandable in dollars and cents.
