You know, despite the magazine being so terrible where delivering content on time is concerned, when it delivers well, it does actually stay true to its word when giving out new information first.
There was one new picture...or at least a picture I hadn't seen before, and it was a full body shot of our main man Altair.
Anyway, new info:
<LI>Where the story is concerned, the game begins with the initiation. So you're as new to it all as our boy Altair. A novice. Basically, you get there just in time to say goodbye to a digit.
<LI>When you complete the game, it doesn't stop there. Downloadable missions are also available - not something I could turn down.
<LI>And, don't go thinking you're alone in everything, and that every mission results in moider. There will be missions where you work with other assassins, <STRIKE>hyjack cars</STRIKE> steal horses, pickpocket the rich people, and give to the poor. A few Olde English folk tales and cheap, crappy movies spring to mind...let's see how this fares.
<LI>Jumping is automatic. Real skill comes in manouvering Altair through streets and over rooftops without getting caught or knocked over.
<LI>realistic health system - no health bar, apparently. You also take more damage easier. Luckily, an intelligent blocking system helps you out here.
