Yeah, I'm curious about Nectar as well. Does Nectar Focus help weapons(') accuracy? I don't want it to auto-aim, I just want my ak-47, just as an example, to be more accurate. It'll be a good sniping assault rifle in burst fire.
Also does the game include a map HUD on screen or some sort? If it does and show the terrain and ally positions it would be neat, when you administer nectar, if blips of hidden enemies would appear onscreen. Great tool for ambush situations where you can't see all the enemy. Great for compromising sniper or hidden machine gun nests as well.
If Nectar slows down time, it's.... all right, i guess. Not a fan of slo mo though.
Nectar Foresight should be interesting. I wonder if it priorities that is the most threat to you. A guy holding a pistol or a guy holding a rocket launcher, when you equip Nectar, the bazooka guy is more easier to spot in some colour or something. I dunno, red, then the not so threatening ones can be colour coded with another. But this would only be useful if the action is really intense like so many stimulants going on and so chaotic that you may need a bit of help from this. If the action isn't so chaotic or intense, then it would just be plain redundant and annoying. The prioritising i mean, not the foresight.
When using Nectar. It improves armour, right? But does it diminish your health depending on the amounts after the affects where off. Or does it recover health? Either would be cool, but it must suit the situation. If the enemies are a walk in the park, health diminishing would add as a challenge. But if the enemies are too tough, Health recovery would be cool. It's up to the game design. But I'd like the enemies tough and my health diminish. It's okay since you get armour bonus when you use nectar anyway. After the battle or if you were that unlucky to run out of Nectar in a middle of a fire fight then tough luck. The concentration of the player's bloodstream with Nectar I think will add another depth to this. I guess after every major battle players should hang 5 before proceeding to another hotspot to ensure that doesn't happen to them. While at the same time the player could look for enemy dog tags or loot like ammunition and grenades. And appreciate the graphical detail of the game. The itty bitty details and easter eggs.
I like the Idea that you lose control when too much Nectar is too much. Induces the player to balance. It's a thinking game but manageable.
If Nectar adds to the tactical level then it would be really cool. It would be nice that the player will believe at the end of the day that he's getting smarter.
I dunno what powers should be added onto the arsenal. But electricity, or whichever sort, powers seem too over the top and cartoony. I guess over the top powers should be left to the villains or game bosses. While the protagonist should be normal and average but was able to perform incredible tasks (tasks that could have been done by any o'l shmo provided the technique and know how), makes him more real and easily relate to.

alright, ive been checking out sum videos and heres what ive gathered:
-Nectar does give you SOME auto-aim, but i think it also decreases the recoil and aim reduction during extended firing, but not 100% sure on that part, but definitly auto-aim.
-Nectar DOES NOT slo-down time, but it gives you heigthened reflexes. Ex: a grenade on a timer lands at your feet. A ripple effect will shoot out from the nade a second be fore it blows, giving you time to get away. Another example is a landslide is about to happen, and the rocks glow before hand.
-no clue how Nectar effects your personal defenses, but i know it gives you crazy strength for the melee blast. Thats when you rifle butt a mofo and they get launched

I also like the idea that you can "overdose" on too much Nectar. I just came over here because I read the article in the new Game Informer and I am now totally psyched to get this game.
