Thread: Warlords and HoMM. | Forums

With your aquisition of HoMM will you retire Warlords? will you try to integrate the 2 worlds together? Will you use the same engine on both while tweaking the graphics?
Will they share the same production timeline?
Do you see them as cutting into each others profits and fans?

Will you be able to keep them both viable independant games?

    Whoa, Joseph.

I play both games, and they are completely different animals. Both deserve Ubi's support.

And Warlords Battlecry is the best rts, bar none.

While that may be true Mr Paulie, the TBS games are not great sellers and one company having 2 Fantasy TBS games does not bode well.

I can understand. It was 92 or 93 when a group of us would play the game on one PC. I was in the Army at the time and we had a blast playing. Warlords that is.

It always reminded me of Archon. Ihave not played it lately though, but the memories of it are still there.

    Everything OZ said.

*hopes up for a strong Warlords 5 and WBC 4 after the last two incarnations of each had a decidedly halfassed/sloppily-rehashed feel to them*

Except SSG's under Enlight now, right?

I see how heroes is inegrated with disciples...
In 2-d disiples appers function "wait" and to heroes 4 moves bottles and Heroes on battlefield...

May be fortification damage, and some "passive" creature abilities (Like imps mana drain) is that integration? May be precasted blessings on whole perty on whole day is good too.. But slow and haste MUST be LImited Duration and summons MUST be upper levl spells...

SOme spell researching is good idea too...

Also units can be given some types such as:
infantry, cavalery, beast, flayer, huge flier, archer e.t.c... And then some abylitis can only for/vs that creatures.
