no, ive tested this heavily - having surround sound though, helps greatly

thats bassackwards, the player can hear it, but the sound detector can't. omg!!

yeppers, many sounds are like that - more prone to being heard with higher quality sound systems. i know this for a fact because even with my wannabe little surround sound set up i had experiences like the one i described quite often.

Not on the HUD but youd have to be deaf not to hear it.

(P.S. phatman buy surround sound systems to take advantage of the glitch; its not the game ruining the experience - its YOU (because you wouldve decided to get surround sound [something that seems to be okay, right?] and chosen to abuse the bug!)
