I know nothing about computers...I didn't understand any of that text...Anything that is more easy to do?Or can someone dumb down that text please?I really want to play this game.

Basically what it says is the cd-rom or dvd-rom might have problems or the farcry disk could be damaged (scratches etc) Does the cd or dvd rom drive work with everything else you put in it?

Sorry Oz I'm by no means a "guru" and with my feable knowledge of things it would probably just get more frustrating for you.
I do however remember that this same xfire error has been discussed here but with no real fix that I can find. But......
If you can post your system specs; CPU, Ram, Operating System, etc maybe the gurus H8, Coops, Cuz and Doc "might" be able to help.
One way to get your system specs is download and run CPU-z (scroll down a bit on that page and click "1.30" under the "version" column and save it. Then unzip it and run it).
On a lark you might want to try and install Xfire first then try to install Farcry.
