i've eliminated all foes in pool/pump area, i go through either vent and swim to a room that has a huge battle raging between the guards and the mutants. i've only made it to the top of the stairs once before being killed but mostly die right where i come out of the water. i have backtracked trying to find another way in but i am stumped. any suggestions?

If you are where I think you are, just run for the door in front of you and down the corridor to the level end.

Hi,

There are two exits when you swim thru the vent. One of them takes you into the room where the battle is raging and you are more than likely to get chewed up. The second exit, which I think is the first one as you swim along.You swim up a tunnel and climb a ladder to a big empty room with a hole in the middle where you can watch the battle below.

It's not that simple though, you still need to kill the Fatboys and Trigen below. Watch it as well because they can leap up to you if you're not careful. When you have mopped up go back down and through the exit door for the next level.

Hope it helps, you need to lock 'n' load for the next level though as it's a biggie.
