SP DA shadows are messed up! | Forums

Hi all, so far i've been playing i had no problems with shadows. During MP i was hacked and my pc suddenly shut down. A day after i reinstalled vid drivers did some restore points and then my shadows became buggy. I tried different vid drivers, audio, i updated directx, motherboard drivers nothing helped. I use vista , geforce 9500 gt , 2 gig ram . Ubi has a FAQ on this title and the g/f 8800 (which is not supported either) - being that yours is a generation newer, it's worth a try.

First, make sure you have the latest drivers installed. The original driver released by Nvidia is not compatible with the geometry in Double Agent.

Next, turn off HDR within the game video options. If HDR is left enabled, the background of the 3D environment will appear distorted with different hues of color.

...\scda-offline\System\ find "SplinterCell4.ini" open it.
find "ShadowTurnOffDegree=2"
change 2 to 0,then shadows come back.
