My bonus disk will load, but when i try to install the bonus levels it crashes with an error. I'm not asking for help, as i already have, just wanted to know if anyone got it to work.

Do you have the original SC? It says you need to have the first SC installed to play the bonus levels.
Yeah I got the movies to work, but I loathe Ubi for their pipin' hot BS- not only do they have the balls to put an advertisement for the strategy guide on the bonus disc, but they say you have to have the original Splinter Cell to play the levels. Nowhere do they mention needing the original Splinter Cell installed. That is, nowhere until you've already bought the LCE and played the DVD.
Arr!! Pain in the ***! Freakin' awesome "bonus". At least I wasn't looking forward to the 'bonus' levels. This is a pretty bastard thing to do, though.

You've gotta be kidding me ... did you actually think they revamped the original bonus missions to be compatible with CT? (graphics engine, physics engine, moves, etc.) I told people that months ago when it was announced .. it would be the 3 original missions that could be played on the first SC, not SC:CT, despite all the fantasies and high hopes PC users created about having the missions done in CT's engine. I think the LE features description was pretty straightforward when it said "3 playable bonus missions for the original Splinter Cell."

true, but ubi said that the 3 levels would be standalone, and didnt need the original sc1 game.
that is why i bought the collectors edition![]()

ah no prob for me since i have all splinter cell series
been a fan since the beginning !!
argh, i think ubi found that the CE disk is messed up, so maybe delaying all pc ce disks
because i think its odd to give 3 bonus levels to play which need an older sc version. who would go buy sc1 now that sc chaos is out?!

The bonus disc was never intended to be a stand-alone game on by itself. That's why it's a "bonus" disc. I'm guessing there was an overestimation of what percentage of LE buyers would be long-term Splinter Cell fans who already owned a copy of that game. But as Terrax said, this was communicated on a while ago. Our apologies that you're unsatisfied.
