Hello,
being a long suppporter and follower of the series, i am sure you are aware what is on in other forums regarding your decision to use an online requirement as a DRM measure, like it was done in this "Rise of Fligth" sim.

Maybe there are not so much people who use to play subsims and Silent Hunter, so the lost sales won't hurt you.

Sorry! ....But if you think you are talking directly to UBI here, ....you are really "Barking up the wrong tree!!"

Trust me Friend!! ....There are very few fans of the proposed DRM here!!

Ive been playing SH since the first, but I happen to have the internet and have played a few games that use some form of DRM, and ive yet to have a single problem with anyone.

If you dont have the internet you might as well stop playing games all together, they're all heading online.

Tim this is NOT DRM we are talking about, it is OSP ( Online Services Platform ) that will be used by UBISOFT and is NOT even being used yet for the general public. So HOW could you have used it in the games that you have played?

It is on the order of DRM but not DRM so quit braging about something you do not know. Also maybe you are set up in life where you have all the things that you want...good for you. Other people do not and you SHOULD stop and think about them and just not yourself. But whom am I kidding? Your user name is trenken.

In past i bought stuff and got the owner by buying it. The seller i wafed when leaving his shop. In future i get the owner by buying stuff too. And so i dt bought and i dt will buy any stuff, the sellers will keep on staying close to me all the time.
If i rent any stuff, thats another question.
Its a phylosophic question in general.
