No "Steal the Artifact" Sessions? | Forums

Why are there no Steal the Artifact sessions?
I've been trying to play this mode all day and can never get a session.
Also, why would you just put me into another game type, without giving me the choice to back out, if no sessions of my chosen game type are found?
I'm rather disappointed, as it seems you put more effort into the MP than SP this time around and it's still pretty bad. Constant host disconnects, very few sessions, extremely poor balancing in the MP, often it will be 6 players of less than level 20 and 2 players on level 50 prestige 1... let's guess who dominates the games.

I guess I was mistaken as to what the words "General Discussion" meant.
Try realizing that this means ANYTHING about the game can be discussed.
I will go to the other section though, and hopefully you'll stay here.

Sometimes it is hard to find a session for Steal the Artifact, but I find that it depends largely on the time and the day.

Also, what you could do is launch a game of Steal te Artifact by yourself and then invite all of your friends and recent players. I think you will be pleasantly surprised at how many of your recently met players will accept your game invite.

I think this is kind of a niche mode that not a lot of people enjoy.

I don't care for it myself. I'll play it when it comes up on the play now, but...yeah...not really my bag.

There do seem to be some issues with matchmaking today. Earlier this evening I was having no luck getting a Deathmatch session, even though the activity level was shown as high. Steal the Artifact, however, was no problem.

I noticed one nice change, though: When it failed to find a Deathmatch session, it didn't just change the mode and throw me into a Wanted match as it has in the past. Instead it gave me a choice to search again or return to the menu. So the developers are listening.
