Well, as we could have seen in the last video (2F15 vs 1A50+2Su27), A50 was dropping only a pair of flares at the time. (I know about that: 'This video does not represent final product...), but since I doubt that the bug is also in release version, let me mention this.

Transports, AWACS, tankers etc. carry huge amounts of countermeasures and they really blow out enormous quantities of flares or chaff when targetted by enemy missile...

Hope this will be fixed.

And if I manage to find a picture, I'll post it.

agreed, but dump around 20 flares at once and watch you fps hit single digit [img]/i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif[/img]

Most of those pics you see of them dumping massive amounts of flares is PR work. That would make them the biggest target in the sky if they dumped that much. It is well represented in the sim.
