I love WW-1 aircraft and have been looking for a good offline Sim that will play well on Windows XP. I have had all the WW-1 sim's that have come out but now will not play on Windows XP.
I found this one on the web. Anyone have it, played it ... is it worth it? Your comments please, Thanks ..

It's just a ww1 crimson skies (it was meant to be a sim, but canceled to sell), but back in the day there was some talk around about 3rd party corrected FM's and surelly some people here will tell you more about that.
There is a forum devoted to this sim over at SimHQ. I remember reading that a third party mod was done to improve the FM and, it was said to be a very good sim afterwards.

Have to admit I enjoy this (ww1)game online(usually playing IL2/PF offline)...but it is an arcade style game ,not a simulator.Great fun for a noob(like me! )I guess but I reckon most hard core folk round here would think it silly.For example you load up on rockets by flying through pink 'balls'.In fact online the whole rockets 'debate' is huge...some ,like me,hate them,whereas others use them to obliterate the opposition. Personally I like Crimson Skies and would think it(WOW) a 'bit'(?) more realistic than that but its no LOMAC(which suits me fine!)
