Im guessing that an sdk would be needed then to change anything for SP! if gamemodesconfig.xml is not the right file to tweak SP then I am at a complete loss as to how to accomplish anything
*sigh* thinking about game dev courses just to F*** with companies like UBI and say "Look I did your job better then you did!!!!"

I have modded STALKER for Years. And I love the way you can mod this game. (it is realy a shame to leave us without a SDK. Screw you UBI-Soft)

So, i have a Dream: STAKLER-Remake with Dunja Engine as a Far Cry 2 Mod ^^

But that's impossible with the limited things we have.

http://www.strategyinformer.com/pc/m...ategory12.html have some mods for FC2

at first I found FC2 with a horrible argumentation on the hero psychology an immersion player does embody somehow. later I found this is no simulation, just a FP fun game as enemies almost instant spawning proves, as soon one leaves a place: it is just a new opportunity to repeat it. it would had helped the story to show explicitly objective was to kill both factions so keeping making jobs to one and another makes sense, while saving some families.

final note is Ubisoft and others are losing money not having to sell a game restart fully modded using the same terrain with another story line and some fun changes. when a client likes a game, and it ends, it is the best moment to sell him an option to revive and continue the adventure with an introduction like "10 years and no changes to people where done, time to make a revolution again, this time, for a better future"
