Hi all,
I recommend not to freeroam your map once a mission is completed.
I did freeroam after completing map 9 but I can not proceed to map 10. Contacted support and they told me to try and play map 9 once again (not the easiest thing in the world).

So avoid free roam at all costs is my recommendation!

That sucks as its the only place you can see day night cycles and weather

There are others that have reported this issue in other topics. Don't know if someone got another solution that might help you, but you can always try and look around.

Definitely a bug when it won't acknowledge that you completed the mission. Regardless, you do have to quit the map. There is no way to end it once you go on free roam. Even if you take all the territories and defeat everyone. You never "win".

Perhaps that's what needs to be addressed there.

if your campaign order got messed up you can restore it:
* open "My Documents/Settlers7/Profiles.xml" in a text editor
* look for a couple of lines looking like this:

<UnlockedCampaignMaps
<Map>Maps\Campaign\c00_m01_The_dawn_of_settlements </Map>
<Map>Maps\Campaign\c00_m02_WarfarersWelcome</Map>
...


* make sure they are all in the right order
* save & start the game

The whole issue will be fixed in the upcoming patch.

NOTE: This should only happen if you load savegames from campaign missions you have not yet unlocked.


Also you can disable savegames online with the gear in the launcher.

To free roam any map, when you get your countdown to victory, save your game, continue to next mission, save your game.
Load up the map and go free roaming, when u want to proceed load up new map save.
