as Yahtzee would say: "A middle-Eastern Assassin with an anomalus american accent"
hold on, I'll get the picture.
EDIT
Here is the picture

Oh god, I've watched all his videos, seen that one twice now thrice, and yet he still has me in stitches. Yahtzee has it down to an ART.
I think Lucy said that the Animus automatically translates some of the speech so that it's not like listening to someone reading Chaucer
maybe this is why he sounds American

k, but then how come he's the only one who sounds like that?
one of my theories is that since desmond was in the animus, altair's voice changed from what it might regularly be to match desmond more. just a thought.
BTW thats a funny video, although i think it was better than what he stated, but then again i suppose he was trying to point out the bad parts.
that's what i was implyingOriginally posted by nooneofinterest:

im not trying to turn this into an argument or anything, but lucy meant that instead of them speaking indian or whatever, it translates it to english, but keeping thier original accent.
Exactly, but I suppose for the sake of making the game more "accepted" to the American and Canadian public, it made sense to give the main character an American accent.Originally posted by nooneofinterest:

Not meaning to be racist or anything, but I doubt Altair could have had the same impact on a lot of players if he had a middle-eastern accent.
