Hello i have been a splinter cell fan for quite some time now, and i am still playing the playing the old Splinter cell games before the new one comes out.
But i do have small bit of a problem.
i am in the mission Geula District Street Market, Jerusalem, Israel
ok so at the start you to have pass this guard who is patrolling, and there is this light post, now for my problem i dont see the light on the ground, but the light is on :/ here's a pic from the Splinter cell Visual walkthorugh to give you the hint on what i am talking about.
as you can see that guy who played splinter cell Pandora Tomorrow has light effects from the light post.
But in my case i dont.
The video card i own in my vista is
Geforce 8400 GS

It is probably a combination of your video card and its drivers. Newer cards like yours do not show lights as well for some reason. Just be sure that nobody is looking in your direction when you move and keep an eye on your meter and you should be fine.

try turning everything up high i have the same "problem" remember vista is drx10 and your graphics card might have a bit of a struggle.you may have to go 8800 on vista.

Any card above the GeForce 5000-series has problems with the shadows.

Has anyone with a newer Nvidia Card tried using Nvidia Inspector to force ambient occlusion? I've heard that if it can be forced, the lighting shadows can be restored.
