Since my 400 wishes demolished from bandwidth...

I would love to see a reference and easter eggs in one of the square kilometers that is a complete remake from the original Far Cry, and a complete remake of the winning map from a map contest. And if a reference or easter egg cannot be made, at least a remake of it in multiplayer or a mention.

For an example, I, KrAzY (KrayZee) would really appreciate if my (Along others) work were at least recognized by the officials of Ubisoft. It not only make us feel the recognition from Ubisoft for our work but as to be part of Far Cry 2.

This map that I have made, "Heavy Dam RM" (RM standing for "Remade"), earned the position of a number one rank in a map contest of the game "Far Cry Instincts Evolution" hosted by a user fanbase Genesis Device whom the host actually gave prizes away. That is actual dedication after all.

And one more thing, Heavy Dam RM is a very unlikely map to ever be developed from a console version map editor. From honesty, the map editor is far more limited than the ones who have developed in the PC version. Heavy Dam RM is a complete pain in the *** to create, especially if the lighting system flaw of CryEngine 1 have done to all the dark and light colors on the roads of Heavy Dam RM. Second, creating the Far Cry theme environment is not easy as you could think of since I had to suffer a period of time of frame rate problems from the 200 brushes max. If I had made the terrain environment first, the Dam itself will be poorly measured and unorganized.

As for previous map contests on the original Xbox, dates before October 25th, 2007, the maps have undergo a crash. Although there was once a contest hosted by Ubisoft themself in 2005.

Then onto Far Cry Instincts Predator, although I may not participated, it should at least grant them appreciation.

And it should be the same for any dedicated work from the PC version of Far Cry.

Oh and a side note to the community, if you are assuming I seek attention, of course not. Do not jump on us and flame us, this is after all dedicated work we've put our time into map making. I am not asking for Ubisoft to put up references, I'm only asking them for at least recognition.
