Thread: transport + engineer + gun port upgrade = transport that can kill tanks? | Forums

i noticed that transports can be upgraded with gun ports does this mean that if you put an engineer in a transport with said upgrade it can kill anything but an engineer in cover

I haven't done this upgrade yet but common sense (this game doesn't have much of it) would say that gunports on a typical infantry transport vehicle are built in light machine guns (LMGs) that can be fired in many directions. Making them very effective against infantry. But not a hole you could simply stick a rocket launcher out of and shoot tanks with.

Then again remember that LMG can also be granade launcher, or rocket launcher...maybe a mark 19.

OR it coudl be just a hole for an engineer to pop up and fire its rocket.

THe upgrade says that it enhances firepower, so the transport itself must do more damage, but I dont think its a form of perma-cover for engeneers. I havent tried it multiple times though, I could have missed something

duno, if is a hole to pop up I woudl guess is a mark 19 or something with heavy fire power, the transport is an anti infantry and anti gunship, so it would be "common sense" to add somethign against armor targets.

Ha ha, I'd like to see someone try and fire a rocket launcher inside of a transport. That thing SHOULD I hope blow up. SO I hope Ubi has that realism in mind and don't allow engineers to fire their missiles inside of transports.

yeah, no but I was saying more like a....humvee style turret with a heaven weapon.

Or a tank style entrance port, where u can open it, get half of your body out aim a missile and fire.

lol a hole in the transport ...I wonder what if the rocket gets stuck in the hole lol.

    EVERYONE OUT NOW NOW!!!

Seriously the back blast from the rocket would probably kill people inside.
