My brain can't really think of anything else to do about this:

Ok. While Playing the Heroes of Might and Magic III version of "Heroes of Might and Magic Complete" DVD, the game suddenly hangs and crashes out.
I had been playing on LAN and no problems, and when i started a single scenario and played it for about 4 hours, the game suddenly crashed.

This is what i got as an error message:

I tried the following things:

Lowering screen res to 800x600
Installing the latest drivers for my GFX card
re-installing the latest DX (9.0c)
Lowering hardware acceleration to minimum
disabling DirectDraw
Re-installing the game

This is a typical S.o.D expansion's main app. error.

Uninstall the current in-use DX9.0c and go to Microsoft.com for your newest DX9.0c(February 2007). Click the Dowload button after you have chosen the download speed that you use for your Internet's everyday use(ISP).

Go to CelestialHeavens.com then click onto the W.o.G mod link to bring you to the W.o.G. site.

Use the link to the page of miscellaneous useful stuff and, download and install the real/true Heroes3.exe for S.o.D.(exp#2). Backpage to the previous webpage and use the link for Downloads.

Download the Allinon.zip file for W.o.G. mod 3.5.8f for your HoMM3 ver.3.1(S.o.D.-patched)'s folder and, extract that file. Once extracted, run the Install program/application that unrar/unpack all of the .rar files that you get to see in that specific directory. Choose Spanish for your PC's installed language of choice of your current O.S. and, be patient, it will take some unusual time for the installer to do its installing work.

The Mod. of W.o.G. 3.5.8f is the only version for HoMM3+exp2 to work under DX9.0c(February 2007).
