This is IGN's article about the new 3-issue comic from DC Comics, Assassin's Creed: The Fall. It's about an Assassin in the Order name Nikolai Orelov (also spelled Orlov -- meaning Eagle's feather) in late 19th to Early 20th Russia and his modern day ancestor, an ex-con and recovering addict named Daniel Cross. The comic follows the events of Nikolai's life through three major events in Russian history, the Borki train disaster, the Tunguska Event, and the Russian Revolution.
It sounds interesting and I'd love to see it as a one day, even if it was a spin-off.
