    M1 Garand...
BTW, looking at the rear sight picture of the Garand as shown on BIA, the "circle" portion that surrounds the front sight (the "peep" sight) is too big. I guess I'm be OVERLY picky but if the developers want the game to be as accurate down to every detail as they are stating, I'm offering my knowledge.
In reality, the rear peep sight, when looking through it, almost perfectly surrounds the front sight. Imagine a circle being drawn around the outside of the two "ears" with the center post.
For the rear sight to look as big as it does in the game pics, your eye would have to be right up against the rear peep sight... Impossible to do and if you did, when the gun fired, you'd get a serious black eye.
I took a picture of this perspective and will eventually post it on the photobucket site.
Just trying to help... I realize it's probably a bit late for the developers to change something like this... Future reference.

I hope that you can pick up ANY weapon and use it. A support gunner in COD:UO was lying down with a 30 cal with a box ammo feed instead of belt and a foregrip. I wanted to kill him just to get it..lol

yes i'm positive that you can pick up enemy weapons since you will be running out of ammo and supplies throughout the game.

btw, a mod for half-life called day of defeat has it to where you can pick up any primary weapon off of the ground, whether it be allied or axis.

You CAN pick enemy weapons off of the ground.

Gearbox has done extensive research. If we're talking about single player, weapons will be available only if they were available to the actual group. An example of this is the BAR (Browning Automatic Rifle) was the 502nd only got after they came across some crashed gliders that was carrying supplies, which I believe happened on DDay+3, June 9th, so the BAR would not be available before that point, seeing as how no paratroopers dropped in on DDay with BARs.
