Iron Maiden of course m8!

absolutely the best band in the world.. The 2 singers they have had have been bloody brilliant. the one they have atm has a great voice; no screaming, a nice operatic type style. 3 guitarist, 1 bass player, 1 drums, and singer...
the band was formed in 1975 in London England, but some of the band m8's had been playing together since 1970...

the first 7 albums they released were the best (their golden era)

they are still playing and just recently released a new album, though i cant say i like it very much, its quite a bit different from their old tried and true stuff..

and 2 more lol.. just because they are so great lol (it may be an aquired taste but they are considered the second greatest metal band ever, i consider them best of best)

(and i like maiden also because their songs arent about politics or current wars, or anything but their songs are about mythical things and the past history.. like ww1 etc

for example the following song is about odyssey and his voyage home after the trojan war.. some of their other songs are about, pashcendale (ww1 most bloody battle), battle of britain, Dune (extremely famous book by frank herbert), and the egyptian pharos.. etc lol
