Thread: Tom Clancy, please make a BATMAN game!! | Forums

  1. #1
Everytime I play splinter cell I can't help but to imagine Sam Fisher with a cape and cawl on. I bet it would be so easy for your team at Ubisoft to make this happen, a Tom Clancy's BATMAN. It is what everyone fan of BATMAN or not would be waiting for and the treatment that BATMAN deserves. So please I will be begging and begging and begging till you, Mr.Tom Clancy deliver.
    Sincerely,
    Luis Fernandez

Tom Clancy has nothing to do with what games have his name haphazardly thrown on them now. He sold his name to Ubi, so he is no longer involved.

Look, I don't want to be mean but here it is necessary. Stop and think - does it really make sense for Tom Clancy to endorse a game that has nothing to do with the military style games he is known for supporting? Furthermore, why would Ubi make such a game? I mean, the idea of Ubi making a Batman game that is Splinter Cell based doesn't sound like it would pass well with those who sign off on the game...not to mention the community in general.

Wait, wait! This guy has a good point.

I see what he's getting at and totally agree with him.

As soon as Montreal is done with crowd stealth and is bored again, looking for something new, Batman will be there for them.

Because Batman is there for everyone, man. He's there for you whether you're being robbed at knife point, need a shoulder to cry on, or just want to try out a new game style.

Guys, vote Batman to be our next splinter cell operative. He agrees with and will support our views, he'll put your tax dollars to good use, and he's not afraid to look plain silly in those underpants.

Batman for splinter cell operative '08, give him your vote!

Buy the original Xbox game Batman Begins, the story writer who created "Splinter Cell" J.T Petty helped create that game. It is not a coincidence that Batman Begins has similar elements to Splinter Cell, such as stealth, and you interrogate bad guys in the same way etc... so, if you want a Batman game similar to how Fisher is buy that one.

An interesting idea,I must say. The stealth tactics, the gadgets would be well suited for a Batman game. However the name 'Tom Clancy's Batman..this seems odd rather. So keeping the name aside, just add some investigative missions to the overall gameplay and you have a promising Batman game.
