    How can I tell when it's safe to attack US convoys, or convoys from other, neutral countries? I'm assuming that anytime after 42 I can attack the US, but it would be nice if there was something in-game that tells you this...

    If you're using the automatic map updates, by the color. If not, then you just have to know the dates. I haven't seen a radio message, which would have been nice.
